STEVE TYLER’S BAND MATES FEAR HE IS TAKING DRUGS AGAIN

The band mates of Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler fear that he may have relapsed into drug taking again. This has thrown the whole future of the band into doubt and turmoil. Tyler had originally claimed he wanted to take a year off from the band in order to focus on pursuing a solo career, however, his band mates are allegedly suspicious of his behaviour of late and fear he may be repeating a cycle of drug abuse.

The band had a tour of South America planned for the end of the year, but pulled out to reportedly to pursue solo projects. However, things seem to have gone very wrong, as guitarist Joe Perry stated earlier this month that the singer had not made any contact with the rest of the group and could be on the verge of quitting the band. He stated that the rest of the band was “looking for a new singer to work with.” Tyler disputed this at a recent live event, where he performed with, ironically, The Joe Perry Project and told the crowd he is “not quitting Aerosmith.”

The band suspect that Tyler’s erratic behaviour is a sign he is back on the drugs again. Guitarist Brad Whitfordstated “I suspect there is a lot more going on than we know about. He has a well-documented history of drug abuse, and I find myself very suspicious.” Drummer Joey Kramer also urged Tyler, 61, to seek help.

A spokesperson refused to comment on the drug allegation, but instead claimed Steven, father of actress Liv Tyler, was busy writing a book.
