Wighnomy Brothers on the 1s and 2s for the Last time as a Duo

Wighnomy Brothers on the 1s and 2s for the Last time as a Duo

This Saturday the Wighnomy Brothers will headline Ministry of Sound’s Bar arena for their last outing as a DJing team.

As was reported by Resident Advisor in October the duo have decided to call it a day and will no longer be playing together as of the end of the year. Fans needn’t worry too much about them disappearing into the ether however, as Gabor Schablitzki (AKA Robag Wruhme) and Soren Bodner (AKA Monkey Maffia) will still be performing individually in the future. However time is running out if you want to check out the guys out as a duo, as they’ll only be playing a few more gigs together.

For UK fans, the gig at Ministry of Sound this Saturday will be the last chance to see them unless you fancy flying abroad, and it promises to be a gig well worth checking out. As always with Ministry a quality lineup of homegrown and international talent will be the order of the evening at the Gaunt Street venue. The Box room will be taken over by the crew at Steve Lawler’s VIVA music label with sets from Gabriel Ananda, Marcel Janovsky and Bearweasel’s Dean Muhsin appearing alongside their label boss. Upstairs the Loft will be a showcase for yet another home grown imprint with Jozif Zumo and head honchos Cedric Maison and Alex Jones all flying the flag for Hypercolour.

Tickets for the VIVa Music showcase are available to purchase now.
